Established in 1999, CREDAI (Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India) is the apex body of private real estate developers, representing 13,000+ developers across 230 city chapters in 21 states. It plays a key role in policy advocacy, working closely with various government ministries and agencies to shape the real estate sector.

CREDAI strives to organize and modernize the industry by engaging with policymakers, investors, financial institutions, and consumers. It promotes ethical business practices through its Code of Conduct and ensures transparency in the sector. The Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (CGRF) helps homebuyers resolve disputes with member developers efficiently.

Beyond real estate, CREDAI is committed to social welfare, focusing on construction worker skill development and promoting sustainable, environment-friendly practices.
